What is Accreditation?

Mt. San Antonio College (Mt. SAC) is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC) of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), an institutional accrediting bodyrecognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education.

The public is invited to submit comments about Mt. San Antonio College to our accrediting body by completing athird party comment formon the ACCJC website. The college is expected to undergo its next comprehensive visit in Spring 2024.

Accredited Status

The College isfully accreditedand we continue to meet or exceed the accreditation Standards. TheAccreditation Steering Committeeprovides leadership for our work as do the faculty members who oversee theprogram accreditation.
