Anthropology is the holistic study of humans today and in the past, with a focus on cultural diversity and bio-cultural variation and a scope that includes our ancestors and close relatives in the primates. Students will be introduced to the core concepts, research methods and theories of the major subfields of anthropology. Anthropology – the study of “who we are and how we came to be that way” – not only provides a sound liberal arts education but also gives students a needed edge in today’s competitive world of careers and jobs.
